Care Plans
— ongoing site maintenance.
Once your site is live, a Care Plan means it stays working, stays up to date, and gets changed when you need it changed — without you needing to learn how any of it works, or chase anyone to get it done.
What is a Care Plan?
A Care Plan is a simple, rolling monthly arrangement — no fixed contract, and you can cancel any time. Each month, I keep your website maintained and working properly, and you get a set number of small edits included at no extra cost. Need more than that in a particular month? I'll always agree a fixed price with you first, the same as with everything else.
There are two tiers — Website Care and Priority Care — so you can choose the level of support that suits your business. More on choosing between them further down the page.

What actually happens
I keep watch in the background
Monitoring and basic upkeep, quietly, without you needing to do anything.
You send through a request, if you have one
Using one simple form, whenever something needs changing.
I make the change within your plan's turnaround
5 working days on Website Care, 2 on Priority Care.
You get a quick note once it's done
No chasing, no wondering whether it happened.
If you don't have anything that needs changing in a given month, nothing happens — that's the plan working as intended, not a wasted month. Learn about request rollover in the FAQ below

What Counts as a Request
What's Included
Examples of what counts as one request:
- Updating your opening hours or contact details
- Swapping a photo, or updating a staff or team bio
- Adding a new testimonial or review
- Updating a price on a menu or price list
- Adding a short announcement (e.g. "Closed over Christmas")
What Sits Outside
Examples of what would be billed as extra:
- Adding a new page
- A new feature, like a booking system or online shop
- A section redesign or full site refresh
- If something falls into this category, I'll give you a fixed price for it, same as always — never a surprise bill, and never silently absorbed into your monthly allowance.
How Requests Are Handled
Care Plan requests aren't handled piecemeal, squeezed in between other jobs — I set aside dedicated time to work through them properly. On Website Care, that's once a week; on Priority Care, twice a week. That means your request gets my proper attention, not five rushed minutes between other work.
Which Plan Is Right for You?
I offer two tiers of Care Plan. Most businesses find Website Care covers everything they need — Priority Care is there for anyone whose site needs a bit more regular attention.
Website Care
(£50 per month)
Choose Website Care if:
You mainly want peace of mind that someone's keeping an eye on things
Changes come up rarely — maybe once a month or less
Email is a comfortable way for you to get in touch
Priority Care
(£125 per month)
Choose Priority Care if:
Your site changes fairly often — offers, seasonal updates, new stock or services
You'd rather just ring me than write out a request
You want unused requests to roll over rather than reset

Care Plan FAQ
What happens if I don't use my requests this month?
On Priority Care, up to 2 unused requests roll over to the next month, so a quiet month isn't wasted. They need to be used within that following month — after that, they don't carry forward again. The 90-minute combined time limit stays the same each month, even if you're using rolled-over requests alongside your usual four. Website Care doesn't carry unused requests forward, in line with its more straightforward, lower-cost structure.
What if my request goes over the time limit?
I'll always tell you and agree a price before doing anything extra — never a surprise bill. Most requests comfortably fit inside the limit; it's really only there to stop a "small change" quietly turning into a redesign.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes — email me and I'll change your plan from the next billing date. There's no penalty either way.
Can I cancel my Care Plan?
Yes, any time — no long tie-ins.
Is hosting included in my Care Plan?
No — hosting and domain costs are billed separately, direct to the platform, in your name, same as with your website build. A Care Plan covers the ongoing changes and monitoring, not the hosting itself.
What if my site goes down?
That's exactly what the monitoring side of your plan is for — I'll typically catch and fix this kind of issue before you've even noticed it, and it doesn't count against your monthly requests.
How do I sign up for a Care Plan?
There's no separate sign-up process — a Care Plan is an optional add-on to any website I build for you. Just let me know you'd like one, and I'll set it up once your site's live.
Can I get a Care Plan for a website you didn't build?
No, unfortunately not. I only offer Care Plans for websites I've built myself, since I can't confidently maintain and edit a site I don't know the inside of. If you'd like ongoing support and a fresh start, I'm always happy to quote for a new build.
